DL1100 Compact Panel Mount Connection System With 8-Channel, Wet-Mate, Manual-Mate, Electro or Optical Connector

A compact connector mating system that can enable the coupling and decoupling of optical or electrical communications channels while submerged in harsh, subsea conditions. The contacting interfaces remain fully protected from the harsh, subsea environment by means of dielectric fluid-filled chambers. The chambers include optical or electrical connections to transmit high speed communications through a mated connector set. The patented end seal provides complete isolation of the dielectric fluid from seawater. The unique design of the DL1100 Panel Mount connector series allows for fix mounting of the bulkhead receptacle to a control panel. The compact size allows for the positioning of a wet-mate connector located at a main focal point within a control panel for easy access when necessary.
